Vose, this electronic producer hailing from Wolverhampton – England is now back for an exclusive release on The BBC Music records with “The unsung war”!

Vose is the artist pseudo of Michael Kumar, a 17 years old artist that has been in the field for about a year now. He mostly works with software like Propellerheads Reason 5, Cubase 5 and has a beautiful B.C Rich Zombie Exotic Classic 5 string bass guitar that he proudly uses.
Since he was young, Michael always had music as a big part of his life, listening to everything, regardless to genre.
Music helped him through tough times and I’m sure a lot of you folks will recognize themselves when Vose says that it tooks his mind off the harshness of this world.

The popular song “Adagio for Strings” (probably from Tiësto) was the first stunning piece of music Vose ever heard and has been a massive influence in his music today. Nevertheless, when making a track, he doesn’t think about other artists or what they do in their tracks. Michael doesn’t build his songs thinking stuff like : “A Skrillex wobble would be amazing here”. Just using his own ideas and thoughts, Vose create music that you can associate to him.

Moreover, as Michael is interested in every kind of music, his productions reflect that fact. Never bounding himself to a particular genre. If Vose like an idea he has that he can build on and it happens to fit a certain specification of a genre, then It will be that genre, not the inverse. However, he makes mostly Dubstep, but think of it like a Unique sound. Vose will make Drum and Bass and House from time to time, but will also make anything else such as Dirty Electro, Drumstep and Hip-Hop if he feels like it. I will let you on some of his words :

“Boundless is a good word for my thoughts on music.
I follow my own thoughts, without thinking about what the masses want.
I make tracks In a chillout style, purely because that’s the only way my mind works.
My track “My Mind” sums up my style and thoughts on current Dubstep!

Most of all, I make music to make me happy. For others to listen to it and think “that’s a quality track” only makes me happier, and I am thankful to every listener.

If people wonder how I chose the name “Vose”, one of my good friends couldn’t say “those” properly 🙂
He asked me “what make are those headphones?” but it came out as “what make are Vose Headphones”
Silly background story, but it stuck with me!”
