To continue on a more chilled vibe here we go with a liquid Dubstep track (but I’ll put that one in Chillstep is it’s too smooth to fit in the Dubstep category). Half Way is the only “Dubstep” song Breeze Block have uploaded on the internet. Although it was a different tempo than his usual vibe, it fitted in with his other tunes quite nicely.
I was going for a euphoric sort of feel which I hope I captured. It was mainly made on ipod headphones (but obviously mixed down on monitors, of course). I intend to up the standard of production on this net tune which is why its taking me a while, but watch this space 🙂
-Breeze Block
But who’s that Breeze Block? Hailing from Brighton, UK, that guy is a 20 years old electronic producer. He has been in the field for a few years now but has only been starting to work more seriously on his career in the last year. At the moment, Breeze Block is running Logic Pro with a number of hand picked plugins including Native Instruments Komplete. He also uses an Axiom 61 keyboard to programme his MIDI and use the Mackie hr624 mk2 as a monitoring solution!
Breeze Block influences include artists such as Danny Byrd, Brookes Brothers, Fred V & Grafix, Camo & Crooked and all the rest… But he also finds inspiration from those of other genres, especially when he gets producers block, he then tends to go for something a bit different like on this track. His passion lies with liquid Drum and Bass but he appreciates most sub genres of DnB as well as a load of different genres including Hip-Hop, Dubstep, Electro House, Reggae, etc.
His special touch? Breeze Block tries to include a more melodic side (usually through the use of live instrumentation) to accompany the energetic dancefloor beat and bass as it’s important for him and it makes his tunes appropriate for home listening as well as clubs.

Hey thanks for the feedback man! About the intro thing it’s because too much people grab the songs directly from YouTube now. I’ll work on a shorter version of our intro, if you feel it’s too long, you’re probably not the only one 😉
