[/s2If] [s2If is_user_logged_in()]Such an heavy track to begin the week with… As I’m writing this, my heart pounds like crazy for two reasons : The first one is because, well, this song is simply insane and the deep bassline penetrates my chest like a flea would do to his wife (Do you know they actually have to break through the other flea’s shell to copulate? Ok that’s totally off-topic…but you get the image haha). Secondly, I hold in my hand some tickets to go to Amon Tobin’s masterpiece ISAM tour which is to take place at the Metropolis of Montreal in a couple of hours. Just so freaking excited! But hey, let’s keep that topic for another post and have a thought on that Dubstep beauty we got just right here. The song “Take Me Away, Away From You” is remixed here by Diverse and this piece of work was made for a competition hosted by a very talented artist called Resonation.

We heard the original and immediately knew we could do something very special with it to take it in a whole new direction.

So they just grabbed the original song, twisted it with their unique touch, their natural banging-talent, and pieced together that amazing Dubstep track. From the 50 odd audio stems provided to complete the remix, only 3 was used, one of them being the vocals!

Now you maybe haven’t heard about Diverse music and you wonder who they are or why the heck am I saying “they” and “their” all the time?
Chris and John are two friends, both from Birmingham, UK. They have been playing together for about a year now but only started to drop some songs on SoundCloud 2 weeks ago. Not only are these tunes incredibly well constructed, with catchy intro and intense melody, but in addition John and Chris are only 17 and 18 years old!

Diverse is a duo, a collaboration between two minds, two persons… and each one has its own technic. Chris is more used to Ableton Live Suite while John uses FL Studio 9. Even if most of their release was into Dubstep, they both appreciate other genres like House, DnB, Electro as well as Dubstep and a bit of everything else. Some artists that inspired them are people like Gemini, Madeon, Flux Pavillion, Skream, Nero, Modestep, etc. Like I said even if Diverse mostly released Dubstep for now, they have projects to experiment with other genres soon and at this very moment, a 100 bpm track is undergo!

I think the thing that makes us unique as ONE artist is how we are trying to reach all different genre’s with ‘our’ own unique sound.

We are currently trying stuff with live performers as we go to a music college so we are trying to get a guitarist and drummer involved and see how that goes!
